Infinity Speaker Review Reviews & Comparison

Infinity Systems, the creator of the Infinity Speakers, is one of the oldest manufacturers of loudspeakers there is. It has existed since 1968, although in 2017 it became a subsidiary of Samsung electronics. They have been known to produce big surround sound home theatres, in-wall home speakers, and other audio amplifiers.

This brand was founded by Cary Christie, Arnie Nudell, and John Ultick in 1968 and produced audio products using materials such as neodymium magnets and polypropylene cones. Their first major product was the Servo-Static speakers, and since then, the company has gone on to produce several world-class audio equipment. So now the question should be, are the Infinity Speakers worth the money?

Infinity Speakers

First, the infinity speakers usually cost as low as $100 per unit to up to $40,000. This makes it within the normal range for most speaker brands out there. Since the 1990s, we have seen several types of Infinity Speakers, such as the Composition series and then the Cascade series of the 2000s. More recently, the infinity line has been going back to the drawing board to bring back the old engineering of the creators and put a modern spin on it for newer audiences. This way, they stay true to their brand while adapting to the times. One such speaker is the rectangular floor-standing speaker.

These speakers have clear high frequencies that are noticeable immediately after you start listening to them. It has a curved enclosure, and proprietary drivers make the design pop out. However, one thing that stands out for infinity speakers is their attention to detail. The sound reproduction is as clear as you can imagine with its signature high-fidelity sound that makes the listening experience immersive and enjoyable.

Built to last

Whether you want to throw a party or have a relaxing day with some lofi tunes to calm you down, Infinity speakers will ensure you enjoy it. Most of their speakers come with weatherproof protection, meaning they can last very long on marine vehicles and resist ultraviolet rays from every angle. The body of the speaker is also resistant to rust which further extends the lifespan of the speakers.

They are also easy to install because all the components you need to install come with your purchase. The only thing you need to do is to take note of the dimensions of the speaker so you can adequately provide insulation for the bass response to tweak it to your taste. As a rule of thumb, it’s best you allow space at the back of the speakers to make the sound reproduction better.

One other thing that makes the Infinity speakers one of the best in the market is the fact that they can produce a lot of sound for its size. So whatever size you end up getting, you can be sure to get more sound than you bargained for. This way, it can turn your room into something of a concert space in a few seconds. However, note that sometimes the mid-range clarity for some infinity speakers isn’t the best. After all said and done, the infinity speakers are worth the money.
